DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, development, implementation and follow-up of the livelihood program in accordance with overall plans.
- Prepare and develop narrative and budgets for proposals in conjunction with Program Director.
- He/she will manage the entire program related to livelihood combined with agriculture program and report to donors and PD.
- Technical Support and Expertise
- Develop proposals for expansion and improvement of the program with support from Program Director.
- Take lead in proposal development, follow up with donors and negotiation with donors with assistance from PD.

- Work closely with the livelihood Sector partners in Ministries, UN agencies, INGOs, and NGOs.

- In close cooperation with the members of the livelihood team(s), develop steps and procedures for timely planning and implementation of all elements in the livelihood program.
- Coordination and Collaboration
- In close collaboration with the PD, expand, develop, coordinate and manage all the livelihood projects and the government entities in Afghanistan and other players.
- Provide guidance to the livelihood team members and coordinate activities with other projects, where possible, ensure integration of programs.
- Responsible to ensure that adequate financial management routines and systems are in place in close cooperation with Finance Department.
- Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor, evaluate and suggest changes and improvements in the project and materials based on observations and discussions with staff and the Program Director and Regional Coordinators.
- Adherence to Policies
- Comply with the organizational policies, including safeguarding, Chile Safeguarding, PSEA, and HR policy.
- Other Duties
- Assess needs for capacity building among Agriculture staff and identify local resource persons and partners.
- Other tasks relevant to the position as requested by Program Director or DG

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Education
